The Perimeter Protection fair focuses on the safety of open spaces and outdoor facilities

From the 12th to the 14th of January, 2016, Perimeter Protection took place for the fourth time in Nuremberg, Germany. This year, like the previous years, more than 2,000 security experts and officers used the opportunity to inform themselves about the latest developments around perimeter protection, fencing and building security. The fair exclusively focuses on the safety of open spaces and outdoor facilities with priority on IT solutions for integrated safety technology and perimeter protection.

At this year’s fair, Umirs Germany, LTV's partner for perimeter protection, presented a mobile security system, a unique trailer. All detectors, equipment and accessories are managed by a built-in supervisory unit, the connected pneumatic mast carries the integrated LTV thermal and PTZ cameras.

Mobile security system

Once an alarm has been detected, the CCTV unit turns to the position where the alarm is generated. Thermal imaging cameras and PTZ cameras are equipped with a stable, weather-resistant external housing – making them ideal for outdoor surveillance and for use in cold weather conditions. The mobile monitoring unit is equipped with video monitors which allow access to video data and live images in case of an alarm. The mobile security system can be placed at any location and combines alarm activation, alarm handling and screening of videos at any time.
