More than 27,000 security professionals are expected to attend this year’s IFSEC International event

ONVIF, the leading global standardisation initiative for IP-based physical security products, announced today that it will be a sponsor of IFSEC International 2016 in London, 21st-23rd June, 2016, at ExCel London. IFSEC International is Europe’s largest security exhibition and more than 27,000 security professionals are expected to attend this year’s event.

Recent ONVIF successes

We are excited to highlight at IFSEC some of our recent successes such as the recent adoption of the ONVIF access control specification by the International Electrotechnical Commission as a global standard,” said Per Björkdahl, Chairman of ONVIF’s Steering Committee. “This illustrates the vital role of standards not only within the industry, but also beyond, as the Internet of Things and safe city deployments are increasing and standards groups look to collaborate with one another.

ONVIF will sponsor the IFSEC Cafe at exhibitor booth B550, where attendees will find seating and some educational materials about ONVIF. In addition to its sponsorship, ONVIF will be represented by 68 member companies exhibiting at IFSEC International this year.
