Key members of oneM2M will take part in a virtual panel session which will examine standards for Internet of Things (IoT) interoperability, drawing on key features from oneM2M’s latest set of specifications, Release 2. The discussion will highlight how the organisation is playing a vital role in providing interoperability across a vast number of IoT protocols and will outline oneM2M’s recent deployments and trials.

Panel discussion

Ultan Mulligan, Vice-chair of oneM2M Marketing and Communications Committee and Director of Communications at ETSI will moderate the panel, which will also feature Nokia’s Dr. Omar Elloumi, Chair of oneM2M Technical Plenary; Sierra Wireless’ Nicolas Damour, Chair of oneM2M Architecture Working Group; Qualcomm’s Josef Blanz, Vice-chair of oneM2M Technical Plenary; and Dale Seed, Principal Engineer and member of the IoT R&D team at InterDigital.

Virtual conference

IoT Grand Slam will take place on Thursday, December 1, with a focus on the rapidly changing landscape of technology due to the emergence of the IoT. The oneM2M panel will take place on Thursday, December 1, during a virtual conference held in the cloud in the Radiance room starting at 12:45 EST/17:45 UTC/18:45 CET.
