This year at RSA 2018, NTT Security has unveiled a new initiative that impacts the company’s services portfolio, support resources and customer experience.
Internally branded as ‘the new science of cybersecurity’ in a company and media briefing session conducted by Khiro Mishra, CEO, NTT Security Americas, the initiative is designed to clearly differentiate NTT Security in the increasingly demanding and growing cybersecurity services market.
“There is a cybersecurity plague attacking global enterprise companies and government agencies around the world, and although industry professionals continue to talk about how they secure a digital footprint, it seems that there have been few changes to accomplish this monumental objective,” said Mr. Mishra. “So, we have decided to do some things different at NTT Security Americas to change our approach and improve outcomes for our customers.”
Science of cybersecurity
Mr. Mishra went on to define ‘the new science of cybersecurity’ from NTT Security based on a foundation of new operating principles initiated for 2018. They include:
- Embracing a new customer-focused engagement mindset to develop solutions that resolve customers’ specific pain points.
- Applying NTT’s vast global threat intelligence and R&D resources locally and vertically, so every customer can access the specific cybersecurity protections they need.
- Implementation of the latest technologies available like AI, not only to mitigate attacks – but to prevent them.
- Providing comprehensive, end-to-end security solutions encompassing the expertise of all NTT companies that can be implemented across any existing, new and enhanced IT architecture.
- Partnering with both customers and technology leaders across all technology sectors to deliver new and creative integrated cybersecurity innovations.
Enhancing customer engagement
To support the new initiative at RSA, NTT Security is engaging conference attendees with direct access to the company’s top management and highly experienced team of security experts. Events include: a Peer2Peer session at RSA entitled, ‘Plan on Moving from ISO 27001/2 to NIST CSF? How? When?’ on Wednesday April 18th; and regularly scheduled presentations in NTT Security’s RSA booth (#1315) entitled, ‘Managing Risk, Not Just Regulation’ to educate attendees on how to manage a better risk framework to protect their organisations.
“If we want to produce different results, we need to do things differently. We have formulated the new science of cybersecurity to drive higher levels of customer engagement that are focused both regionally and vertically, and with unprecedented support from our global threat intelligence network and industry-leading R&D,” concluded Mr. Mishra.
