Norgren will be showcasing its latest developments centered around sustainability and energy efficiency at SPS Italia, which takes place in Parma from 23rd- 25th May 2023.
Sustainable solutions
As energy costs continue to escalate and the journey to decarbonising industry gathers pace, Norgren’s stand will display several demonstration units to support customers in the industrial automation sector as they look to overcome these challenges.
Located in Hall 3, stand E069, the demonstration units will highlight Norgren’s technical innovation across its extensive product portfolio, which is already delivering proven performance and playing a pivotal role in driving the sustainability agenda for OEMs and end users.
Energy savings solutions on display
Norgren will include demonstrations of connected valve islands, such as the next-generation VRQ range
Energy-saving IVAC pneumatic cylinders, and the latest electric motion solutions will be on show so stand visitors can explore how and where they can address energy consumption and, with it, energy cost issues.
In addition, Norgren’s stand will include demonstrations of the company’s innovative connected valve islands, including the first opportunity to see the next-generation VRQ range, featuring integrated sensing modules and onboard diagnostics, ahead of its launch to market.
Automation applications
Other product highlights on display and which are ideal to support industrial automation applications in the food & beverage and material handling sectors include IP65-rated rod-style electric cylinders and the industry-leading Excelon Plus air preparation range.
Visitors to the show are also able to meet with Norgren’s team of application engineers who will be happy to discuss any bespoke challenges, particularly around long-term sustainability solutions.
Maximum operational efficiency
Marzio Mascellani: Key Direct Sales Director, Southern Europe & MEA, says, “The industrial automation sector is having to address real-life sustainability challenges and the recent increase in energy costs has brought areas such as optimised energy consumption into sharp focus. And with net zero targets also becoming more relevant by the year, the sector must begin to take proactive action."
“At SPS Italia, visitors to the Norgren stand will be able to see first-hand how such issues can be tackled through a range of proven technical solutions that can reduce energy consumption and maximise operational efficiencies, both of which OEMs and end-user production sites can benefit from.”
