Professional Communication Corporation – Nedaa, the Dubai Government’s safe and secure network provider, is expected to throw the spotlight on its current range of innovative solutions and applications that have been designed for today’s smart and safe cities during their participation at Intersec, a trade fair for security, safety and fire protection to be held from January 21 to January 23, 2018 at Dubai World Trade Center.

Nedaa will be hosting at Pavilion #D-18 at Sheikh Saeed Hall 3, featuring some of its strategic partners who specialise in telecommunication solutions presented through Nedaa 4G network, such as Airbus, Nokia, Esharah Etisalat Security Solutions and Al Marakeb Manufacturing Boats, offering demonstrations that will highlight the use of technology to enable a smart, safe and more sustainable city.

Real-time monitoring solutions

Nedaa’s participation at this event is an important opportunity to reach out to their target customers by demonstrating LTE and 5G use cases of Nedaa’s private network capabilities to allow different organisations to deploy smart and safe applications and provide an overall better city experience. During the exciting three-day show, Nedaa, in a strong cooperation with Dubai Police, will also demonstrate a live video streaming to the command and control centre that allows real-time monitoring through Nedaa private LTE network for mission critical communication.

Integrated communication systems

Mansoor Bu Osaiba, CEO, Nedaa, said, “Intersec continues to live up to its name as being a strategic platform to showcase the latest innovation and advancements in safety and security. In line with this, Nedaa will be leveraging its diverse portfolio of products and solutions, which have been created to address the needs of government organisations and mission-critical sectors.

Hosting a pavilion that features our partners will give us the chance to throw the spotlight on our network capabilities and solutions designed for a smart, safe and sustainable city. These are applications and solutions that ensure the integration and unification of sustainable and effective communication systems and networks in compliance with international standards.”

Drones for traffic surveillance

Nedaa will also be demonstrating the use of LTE-connected drones to facilitate efficiency in rescuing operations for first responders. The product presentations will be able to show drones can help in real-time road and traffic monitoring as well as other drone use cases that can be implemented through Nedaa private LTE network.

The corporation has expressed confidence that the demonstration of their services will help drive in an increased awareness and understanding from their clients and interested participants, particularly for Nedaa’s plug-and-play solution—purely developed based on the Nokia Ultra Compact Network and provides first responders with the advantage of communicating from remote areas that could be out of coverage especially during natural catastrophes. The robust and portable solution gives responding authorities the capability to respond and make quick and accurate decisions.
