Matrix COSEC has had a successful journey in the Time-Attendance and Access Control domains so far. It constantly aims at enhancing its products and solutions for providing better service and opportunity to grow & succeed to its customers. In accordance with this, Matrix is launching a new feature ‘Attendance on Move’! It is an additional feature that will be available for use with the Matrix COSEC APTA mobile application. The feature works on the GPS coordinates or Wi-Fi signals received from the respective employee’s mobile device. The HR/Admin will be required to pre-define a location and save it in the Location Master. As a result, whenever the employee enters/exits the pre-defined location, his or her attendance gets automatically marked.

This feature will address attendance marking issues such as:

  • Automatic attendance marking in case of missed punches
  • Easy and automatic attendance marking for field employees
  • Attendance marked automatically in cases of credentials not identified
  • No more waiting in long queues for punching

This feature benefits in following ways:

  • Increased productivity of employees and HR
  • Less time spent after trivial tasks such as attendance corrections
  • Improved employee morale
