Featuring a sleek, all-metal design and traditional styling, the SmartCode 888 Touchpad Electronic Deadbolt is designed to integrate with a variety of smart home systems. Featuring an easy-to-use, five-button keypad for keyless entry, the SmartCode 888 Touchpad Electronic Deadbolt delivers convenience and peace of mind to homeowners with complete remote locking/unlocking via smartphones and tablets, as well as total home control.

The SmartCode 888 Touchpad Electronic Deadbolt has the capability to hold up to 30 distinct user codes, and the Mastercode feature provides the homeowner with improved user code management. What’s more, users can view lock status and receive notification of the lock’s activity.

An important feature of the SmartCode 888 is the incorporation of the new Z-Wave 500 Series chip. The new chip provides a number of enhancements, including extended wireless range and wireless security features that reduce the vulnerability of the network during enrolment, as well as increased battery life.

Protection against break-in techniques

Like all Kwikset locks, the SmartCode 888 features Kwikset’s patented SmartKey Security, which protects against advanced break-in techniques. It also allows homeowners to re-key the lock themselves in seconds. Available in three finishes (Lifetime Polished Brass, Satin Nickel, and Venetian Bronze), this lock is easily installed, replacing the existing deadbolt with just a screwdriver; no hard wiring is needed.
