This purchase is IdentiSys’ 12th dealer acquisition in the last 10 years
LINSTAR will continue to operate under its own name, as a division of IdentiSys

IdentiSys Inc., North America’s largest sales and service integrator of identification, card issuance, emergency response, customer line management, access control and video security systems, recently announced the acquisition of LINSTAR, a full-service security systems integrator, located in New York.

LINSTAR - A division of IdentiSys

LINSTAR has installed and serviced identification, emergency management and a wide variety of security solutions to customers throughout New York and Pennsylvania since 1998. They have a wealth of experience and are highly respected in the corporate, government, financial, healthcare, education, and security markets that they serve. Because of LINSTAR’s strong presence and brand, LINSTAR will continue to operate under its own name, as a division of IdentiSys Inc. and the full LINSTAR staff will be retained.

“Adding LINSTAR to the IdentiSys business portfolio and implementing plans to build on their solid record of success is exciting,” said Debra R. Ferril, President and COO of IdentiSys. “We are really looking forward to bringing together our similar, yet different, product portfolios and comprehensive on-site service capabilities. We welcome the addition of the outstanding LINSTAR staff to our organisation and, together, we will provide our customers with the IdentiSys sales and service experience we proudly deliver throughout the rest of our corporate footprint. We are also looking forward to implementing some of LINSTAR’s product lines and best practices to improve IdentiSys’ security solutions portfolio across North America.”

12th dealer acquisition

“IdentiSys strives to continually expand our local sales and service coverage in the U.S. and we are always on the lookout for growth opportunities. The opportunity to add LINSTAR’s security expertise and large customer base to our company is in complete congruence with this strategy,” stated Michael R. Shields, founder and CEO of IdentiSys. “This purchase is our 12th dealer acquisition in the last 10 years. Our growth involves making solid acquisitions and expanding product offerings to our current customer base. IdentiSys is proud to have local sales and service covering more than half of the United States and we look forward to many years of record growth,” Shields added.
