i-PRO Americas Inc., a provider of professional security solutions for surveillance and public safety, is debuting a new, vastly expanded portfolio of S-series AI cameras with higher levels of intelligence at the edge here at ISC West 2022 in booth 10037.

The latest additions to i-PRO’s S-series deliver a unique combination of imaging performance, versatile features, and intelligent analytics at the edge in several form factors including multi-sensor, pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ), dome, bullet, and fisheye cameras, as well as a new mini camera. The expanded S-series offering provides security professionals with a comprehensive portfolio of advanced imaging solutions for an extensive range of mainstream physical security and business intelligence imaging applications.

Multi-sensor cameras

These new additions to our portfolio of S-series AI cameras take video surveillance performance, intelligence and application versatility to an entirely new level,” said Adam Lowenstein, Director, Product Management, i-PRO Americas Inc. “The ability to implement AI intelligence at the edge by employing a distributed technology systems model enables system designers to apply new advanced analytics specifically where they are needed. The addition of these new cameras to existing and new video surveillance systems will dramatically increase the performance efficiencies and cost-effectiveness of physical security systems.”

A new lineup of eight i-PRO AI multi-sensor cameras come preloaded with four powerful AI analytics engines

A new lineup of eight i-PRO AI multi-sensor cameras come preloaded with four powerful AI analytics engines to automatically detect people and vehicles and optimize images, complemented by an extensive portfolio of versatile features. Packaged in the thinnest profile outdoor vandal- and weather-resistant configuration available, the new multi-sensor cameras are available with three or four imaging sensors in 4K, 6MP, and 4MP resolution, ensuring exceptionally detailed image capture.

Identity-based authentication

Additional features include IR LED lighting on select models, FIPS 140-2 level 3 encryption and level 3 compliance, tamper-resistant technology, identity-based authentication, and an extra layer of security that protects critical security parameters on the device.

Four new i-PRO AI PTZ cameras include two outdoor vandal- and weather-resistant models along with two indoor models with 2MP resolution and two onboard intelligent analytics for people and vehicle detection with advanced AI-enabled auto-tracking. The units are available with a choice of powerful 40X or 20X optical zoom capabilities to provide detailed wide-area coverage capabilities. Six new i-PRO AI dome cameras and four new AI bullet cameras have also been added to the i-PRO S-series lineup. The new outdoor vandal- and weather-resistant cameras all feature three onboard intelligent analytics for people and vehicle detection.

Wide-area surveillance

The new cameras are available in a selection of 4K, 6MP or 5MP resolutions

The new cameras are available in a selection of 4K, 6MP or 5MP resolutions, and 3X or 2X (digital) zoom capabilities. All the new units also feature IR-LEDs for use in dark environments. New i-PRO AI fisheye cameras provide a cost-effective means of enabling wide-area surveillance where the performance of a multi-sensor camera is not required.

Two outdoor and two indoor models with 360-degree fields of view are available with 12MP or 5MP resolution. The units feature three onboard intelligent analytics for people and vehicle detection along with a user-intuitive AI dashboard. All models can be either ceiling or wall-mounted. A new i-PRO mini camera also joins the S-series portfolio of AI cameras. The small form factor indoor camera includes three onboard intelligent analytics, 2MP resolution, a built-in microphone, and is available in white or black.

Enhanced dynamic range

Several other enhancements to existing S-series cameras include a selection of five indoor dome and bullet cameras in black and three indoor vandal-resistant dome cameras with smoke domes.

All S-series cameras analytics do not require a cloud or server connection and allow for the installation of third-party analytics. The units feature stronger H.265 coding efficiency, enhanced dynamic range for challenging lighting conditions, superior image quality for better identification, audio classification to trigger alarms for specific sounds, as well as an analytics-driven search function by the camera for i-PRO Video Insight Genetec VMS platforms.
