As the world becomes ever more globalised, security suppliers are becoming increasingly susceptible to fluctuations in currency. With almost every business at Security & Counter Terror Expo (SCTX) 2018 importing components and exporting their solutions around the world, for the first time Hermex FX will deliver key insights into the constantly evolving world of foreign exchange (FX) during the show.

The FX provider will take to the CNI and Business Resilience Theatre stage to discuss the effects of worldwide events on currency rates. Avril Millar, a business advisor and a non-executive director of FX Pro—which powers Hermex FX—along with Paul Argyrou, Head of Treasury at Hermex FX, will highlight how the security industry can mitigate the risks of adverse exchange rate fluctuations.

Minimising impact on businesses

During this invaluable session, Hermex FX will review the impact of worldwide events on currencies and exchange rates and discuss how Brexit and the difficult negotiations that lie ahead will cause fluctuations to the currency markets affecting the security industry.

Speaking ahead of the event, Hermex FX’s Marketing Director, Peter Garland Collins, commented, “The economic impact of worldwide events can have a serious effect on a business. As the security sector grows and becomes increasingly international, it’s important for businesses to understand FX and understand how they can minimise the impact it can have on their bottom line.”

Ms Millar and Mr Argyrou will be speaking at SCTX and Hermex FX will be available to consult on FX at stand K60. It will also be hosting an exclusive VIP lunch during the show.
