Enveil, the pioneering Privacy Enhancing Technology company protecting Data in Use, announced that it has been selected to participate in the AWS European Defence Accelerator, a four-week technical, business, and mentorship programme designed to advance and showcase innovative solutions well-positioned to support defence and national security customers.

The programme targets solutions that will help the European defence industry enhance its energy resilience, secure information sharing, sensing and decision making, quantum, and cyber resilience for mission-critical needs for land, air, maritime, space, and cyber domains.

Secure data usage

Our team is committed to continuing to help customers unlock data value by enabling secure data usage"

We are proud to be selected to participate in the AWS European Defence Accelerator and for the opportunity to work alongside leaders from AWS and Plexal to drive and advance opportunities,” said Ellison Anne Williams, Founder, and CEO at Enveil.

Ellison Anne Williams adds, “Our team is committed to continuing to help customers unlock data value by enabling secure data usage, and this programme will position us to efficiently and effectively use AWS Cloud solutions to address mission-critical needs across the European defence infrastructure.”

AWS European Defence Accelerator

Beginning in September 2023, the AWS European Defence Accelerator is a four-week technical, business, and mentorship programme delivered in collaboration with Plexal, a United Kingdom Government supported innovation technology firm.

Participating startups are eligible to receive AWS computing credits, specialised AWS training, mentoring from defence and national security domain and technical subject matter experts, business development, go-to-market advice, and investment guidance.

Defence solutions

To further accelerate their solutions’ go-to-market opportunities, the cohort companies will have the chance to connect with AWS defence customers, industry pioneers, and members of the AWS Partner Network (APN) looking for defence solutions.

I congratulate Enveil and all those selected to participate in the AWS European Defence Accelerator,” said Cameron Brooks, AWS Director (Europe).

Power of technology

ZeroReveal® solutions change the paradigm of how and where organisations can leverage data assets

Cameron Brooks adds, “With the tech sector’s support, there is an opportunity for defence ministries and multilateral organisations to build a unique level of engagement with commercial, non-traditional defence companies. The AWS European Defence Accelerator will help facilitate this type of connection and cooperation, enabling customers to solve problems using the power of technology.”

Defining the transformative category of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs), Enveil’s ZeroReveal® solutions change the paradigm of how and where organisations can securely and privately leverage data assets.

Content encryption

Enveil protects data while it’s being used or processed by encrypting the content of the search, analytic, or machine learning model, extending the boundary of trusted computing by ensuring a customer’s interests and intent are never revealed.

Data can be securely searched, shared, and analysed at scale between entities and across security boundaries without the need to move or pool sensitive assets.
