Belden’s new OpenBAT range from Hirschmann is the first modular system to enable industry-standard WLAN access points and clients to be configured via the internet. Belden adds new managed IP67 switch with OCTOPUS 24M-8PoE

With the OCTOPUS 24M-8PoE, Belden has added a new managed IP67 switch to its Hirschmann product range. Designed in particular for use in trains and buses, this switch has 24 Fast Ethernet ports (10/100 BASE-TX), 8 of which support PoE. This means that devices such as IP cameras and information displays can be powered via the Ethernet cable.
