Comelit’s Gold Partner, Door Entry Direct, has seen record attendance and received significant on-the-day sales at its most recent installer open day, showcasing the latest app-based door entry and facial recognition technology.

The dedicated open day saw over 50 people attend in just four hours. It was an exclusive opportunity for the leading distributor of audio and video door entry systems to display Comelit’s stylish new security systems, including its stylish Visto video doorbell and mini handsfree Wi-Fi monitors and kits.

Door Entry Direct held live demonstrations of its brand-new support initiatives, including its advanced Quick Quotes online solution. Visitors were also presented with the opportunity to design and customise their own Vandal Resistant Panels.

Presenting cutting-edge security technology

The powerful combination arms technical installers with the right tools to win new business with confidence"Says Sam Stuart, Door Entry Direct Sales & Business Development Director: “As a dedicated Comelit Gold Partner, the aim of the open day was to create an environment to present our own service solutions, together with Comelit’s latest door entry systems. It was an opportunity to demonstrate how we have stayed at the forefront of presenting cutting-edge security technology.

The powerful combination, we believe, arms technical installers with the right tools to win new business with confidence. This is both in terms of physical product where focus is on smart capability and style, and also with innovative solutions like Quick Quotes and our Vandal Resistant Panels designed to present an efficient and professional service.

In these objectives, we exceeded our expectations not only with the level of attendance, but significantly with our customer engagement. Many one-to-one sessions with our own, together with Comelit’s technical and sales experts, saw requests for live demonstrations to understand the true features and benefits of products and services on show. And the results and sales on the day speak for themselves!

Display of Visto video doorbell

At the event, Comelit presented its architect designed Visto video doorbell that connects via a home Wi-Fi network to allow homeowners to see, hear, speak and operate lock release for visitors at any time or from any location via a smart phone or tablet.

Visto and our Mini Handsfree Wi-Fi Kits are just two examples of our expanding product portfolio"

Also, visitors were able to see for themselves how Comelit’s new internal mini handsfree monitor with integrated Wi-Fi can present an easy upgrade opportunity, to enable homeowners to benefit from instant intercom control via the Comelit app, even on cost-effective 2-wire systems, and smart door entry capability.

Smart door entry solutions for customers

It’s something we are committed to supporting our Gold Partners, to ensure that they are best positioned to present customers with latest solutions, including stylish ways to meet discerning home and business owner requirements for smart door entry solutions.

Visto and our Mini Handsfree Wi-Fi Kits are just two examples of our expanding product portfolio. The feedback from the day was visitors were able to see how Comelit is working hard to simplify the installation process to enable more installers the chance to offer smart technology. And with plenty more in the R&D pipeline, we’re already in the planning stages of our next open day event, so keep a look out for the date coming soon!
