With continuous and rapid innovation, Dahua Technology’s HDCVI technology always manages to bring added values, higher resolution, and easier operation to users. This time, it brings simplicity by introducing PoC technology into its HDCVI products and solutions.

Power over Coax (PoC) transmits both video and electrical power over a single coaxial cable, eliminates separate camera power supplies and further simplifies system deployment with true Plug & Play, benefiting Dahua customers and end users.

Layouts of PoC and non-PoC system

For installers, now that the complex power supply designing and heavy installation work are eliminated, the time and labour cost will be remarkably reduced. HDCVI PoC system is also great for stability, as it provides constant power supply to cameras, saving the cost for future maintenance. Further, HDCVI provides PoC cameras with power outputs which power nearby devices, further facilitating installation.

For distributors or system integrators, the top-notch 400-metre/300-metre transmission distance for 2 Megepixel/4 Megapixel cameras of HDCVI PoC bring more project opportunities. End users will find the system extremely easy to use. True ‘plug and play’ means there’s no configuration needed for camera connection whatsoever and power is available immediately.

Auto device identification

Operational safety is enhanced with auto device identification and quick power-off strategy. When connected with unsupported devices or suffering short-circuits, the system immediately cuts off the power supply.

Users can say goodbye to power supplies and embrace HDCVI PoC technology, which further demonstrates Dahua’s dedication to technological innovation and its core customer service. With a mission of “Enabling a Safer Society and Smarter Living”, Dahua will continue to focus on its value propositions to serve customers and end users around the world.

HDCVI Lite series PoC cameras and PoC XVRs will be released soon. Product launch dates may be varied for different countries.
