Cyber Sierra, a pioneering Singapore-based Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platform, has been named a Sample Vendor for two categories – Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC); and Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) – in the Gartner® Hype Cycle for Cyber Risk Management 2024.

They believe this acknowledgment underscores Cyber Sierra's dedication to delivering cutting-edge solutions in the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity risk management.

Adoption of technologies

Gartner Hype Cycles provide a graphic representation of the maturity and adoption of technologies and applications, illustrating how they are potentially relevant to solving real business problems while providing opportunities to exploit new opportunities.

As per Gartner, “Cyber GRC is a strategic framework managed by tools to align business with relevant security regulations, frameworks and standards, while managing risks and regulatory compliance.” Gartner notes, "Cyber GRC is crucial for securing assets, ensuring compliance, and managing cyber risks. A modern cyber GRC tool can automate these processes and align with business objectives and the overall risk management strategy.”

Cybersecurity risk management

According to Gartner, “Continuous controls monitoring (CCM) automates the monitoring of cybersecurity controls’ effectiveness and relevant information gathering in near real time.”

"In our opinion, this recognition validates our pioneering approach in cybersecurity risk management,” said Pramodh Rai, CEO of Cyber Sierra. “Our platform uniquely integrates Cyber GRC with CCM in a single, automated solution, addressing the complex challenges faced by modern CISOs." Cyber Sierra was also named a Representative Provider in the 2024 Gartner® Innovation Insight: Cyber GRC Streamlines Governance report.
