H.E. Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and General Security in Dubai, headed the opening rites of Critical Communications Middle East and North Africa 2017 (CCMENA) Conference and Expo at Dubai World Trade Centre. Professional Communication Corporation - Nedaa, the Dubai Government security networks provider, is participating as the event’s major sponsor (Host Operator) for the fifth consecutive year and will demonstrate its core strategies for supporting public safety enforcement.
Mission-critical mobile broadband network
Nedaa will share the deployment of its mission-critical mobile broadband network which will be used by Dubai’s public safety agencies. HD cameras and geolocation devices are connected to the network to enable law enforcement and rescue fleets to recognise plates and clearly visualise situations – reflecting the public safety domain’s move to the video era.
Nedaa will also showcase Mobile Transport solutions that resolve the major connectivity challenges faced by enforcers and responders who communicate through diverse radio locations, architectures, services and traffic.
Communications in public safety and emergency response
“As a vital voice for the global critical communications industry, CCMENA is an excellent platform for Nedaa to emphasise its full commitment to supporting the crucial role of communications in public safety and emergency response,” said Mansoor Bu Osaiba, CEO of Nedaa. “Nedaa is constantly developing advanced technologies and solutions with the high levels of quality, reliability and security required for a continuously evolving and expanding threat landscape. Our successful deployments in Dubai attest to the importance of ensuring that public safety entities have the right communications capabilities in place to consistently implement the best response.”
