Convergint, a pioneer in service-based systems integration, announces that it has acquired Ojo Technology Inc., a Northern California-based security systems integrator in video and access control security.

The acquisition expands Convergint’s west coast presence and extends the company’s capabilities in the state, local, education, and transportation markets.

Founded in 2003, Ojo Technology specialises in enterprise, tier-one, network-centric, physical, and cloud-based systems. The company works with all major municipal districts in Northern California, including more than 30 of the region’s cities and counties and the majority of local school districts.
