Lock and access control manufacturer Codelocks has created a new board of directors following significant global growth. Senior leadership in all of Codelocks’ markets are receiving new positions too, as the company, marking 33 years in operations, focuses on greater international expansion.

The award-winning access control solutions provider has dramatically increased its revenue in recent years. The increase has been driven by 22 new products and solutions, two new international locations, and a growing presence in each of its four markets – Europe, Americas, Asia Pacific, and the UK.

Codelocks’ new structure

To maintain its industry-acclaimed service Codelocks invests heavily in new people and has almost doubled the size of the team in the last 10 years. Codelocks’ new structure will help with knowledge sharing between regions and new product innovations for each market. The changes, effective from August 1, 2024, will help to ensure an enhanced customer experience globally. As a part of the new structure, the company has made internal promotions, appointing Regional Directors to oversee each market, while its new Board will oversee global operations.

Dominic Ryan has been appointed Chairman of the Board and commented: “I have seen Codelocks grow over many years having joined in 1993, two years after my father founded the company. From inception to international expansion, Codelocks has maintained its core values of family, integrity, and putting our customers first. It shows too. Today we still work with core industry distributors who we worked with back in the early 1990’s.”

New role of CEO

Colin Campbell will step into the new role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Joanne Milne-Rowe has joined the board as Managing Director UK. She will work with all UK departments and collaborate closely with the Regional Directors in each market. Commenting on the appointment she said: “Codelocks is the market pioneer for access control in the UK. I am excited to take the helm as Managing Director of an organisation with such a strong reputation. I look forward to working with my UK team and the opportunity to share knowledge with our other regions so they can follow our blueprint and continue to further grow.”

Adding, “We have a roadmap setting out where we want to be, the next-generation of products we’ll create, and how to further establish Codelocks as a leading player in the access control sector globally.”
