IP Security represents Sony’s security and surveillance products in the New York City and New Jersey markets

IP Security Reps Inc., a premier security manufacturer’s representative firm, announced recently that the company has expanded its sales territory with Sony Electronics’ Security Systems Division beyond its existing Mid-West business. The company now represents Sony’s security and surveillance products in the New York City and New Jersey markets, and the Mid Atlantic region, which covers Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware, Virginia, and eastern Pennsylvania. IPSR will staff each market with three representatives and will add staff as the market demands.

“We are very excited to be expanding our company into one of the most dynamic and exciting regions for security in the United States,” said Rob Lydic, president of IPSR. “The opportunity to bring our IP-centric sales model to these markets will be a great benefit to our integrator and distribution partners.”

IPSR has been an authorised Sony Security Systems sales representative in the Mid-West region for about two years. The company has worked with customers across nearly every vertical market, helping them identify and implement the right IP-based surveillance solution for their situation. ISPR also helps customers bridge the gap between facilities managers, security personnel and IT professionals in order to ensure that everyone with a stake in the security system has the access and functionality they need to be successful.

“IP Security Reps has been one of our top-performing manufacturer’s representative firms nationally,” said Mark Collett, general manager of Sony Electronics’ Security Systems Division. “We are pleased to be expanding our distribution relationship with the company and look forward to our joint success.”
