The most important event of the construction industry in Hungary, CONSTRUMA International Trade Fair, is always given a special focus by KABA.  This year's event celebrated its 25th jubilee in April, with an outstanding number of visitors and exhibitors. Over 1,000 exhibitors from 18 countries presented themselves on 36,000 sqm.

Despite increasing competition by local as well as Asian access control companies, KABA Elzett, the local Kaba subsidiary managed to draw high attention.  Presented were a wide range of KABA, GeGe and Elzett access control solutions.

From a communication point of view the CONSTRUMA Marketing Award was a remarkable accompanying event.  The annually announced Award is organised in part of the plans to enhance the rate commercial and industrial development of Hungary.  Marketing concepts from over 110 tenders were submitted to the Hungarian Marketing Association, among them that of Kaba Elzett.  Fair presence and communication of the exhibitor firms was the main topic of the tenders and were in focus of the Marketing Committee's judgement.

KABA Elzett was ranked the first because of its strength of market segmentation and its targeted and tailored marketing and communication tools.  The four main criteria that contributed toward winning the award were:

  1. New product launches
  2. Branding campaign tools facilitating wide public awareness
  3. Promotion of licensed partner network as part of an advanced channel management concept
  4. Presentation of the master-key system as part of an integrated access control solution

"We were very pleased to see that not only the professional board gave us positive feedback but also our visiting partners, customers and other guests expressed their satisfaction with the Kaba product presentation.  We expect an increase in sales in the near future as a result" says Zoltàn Balogh, General Manager of Kaba Elzett.
