JVC strengthens European leadership
Yash Patel, Executive Director, New Business Development at JVC Professional Europe Ltd
JVC Professional Europe has made two key changes in its senior management to meet the challenges of a demanding market and to forge strategic partnerships across continental Europe and in the UK.

Yash Patel now becomes Executive Director, New Business Development, focusing on pan-European product category management for all professional products. Yash Patel's 25 years in the security industry have given him extensive experience, knowledge and contacts, which will help develop JVC's opportunities for forming key business partnerships. These include working with Kenwood subsidiary, Zetron. Yash Patel is also a key liaison point for product development between manufacturing in Japan and Europe. Lee Elliott will continue his role as pan-European Product Manager for CCTV Products and will report to Yash Patel.

Ian Scott, Director and General Manager, UK will take on direct responsibility for CCTV business functions as well as the Professional Video product ranges in the UK. This move will significantly strengthen the company's development in the UK, Irish, MEA and Scandinavian markets. Ian has formidable management skills and experience in developing sales territories and looks after a sales force of about 20 staff.

We expect to benefit from the broader revenue opportunities available from strategic alliances and a coordinated business approach within Europe, and especially in the UK market," says Keisuke Yoshikawa, Chief Executive Officer at JVC Professional Europe.#

Yash Patel and Ian Scott will give JVC additional clout in their respect areas and a strong business advantage in an increasingly challenging marketplace.

Yash Patel has won several industry awards including the Premier Award for Outstanding Achievement. He holds the prestigious Guild Member status with The Company of Security Professionals and is an invited member of the UK Security Institute.
