JVC will debut the newly introduced VR-N900U "Hybrid" network video recorder (NVR) for the recording of images from both analogue and IP cameras on stand 039 at IIPSEC 2007.

With embedded Milestone XProtect software, the NVR bridges the gap between analogue and IP video surveillance systems and offers complete reliability and quality.  The embedded software also makes it tamper-proof and the ‘triplex' functionality enables operators to simultaneously view, record and playback images in real-time.

Designed for ease of use and practicality, once the NVR is installed it is ready for immediate use with no PC specification or configuration needed.  The intuitive NVR automatically detects and configures supported IP and analogue cameras.  The unit fits seamlessly into a standard rack.  Ergonomic front panel controls, which are similar in design to VCR or DVRs, ensure familiarity for most security operators.

The NVR offers a scalable open platform allowing for the integration of access control, POS and ATM systems, remote monitoring solutions and even third-party IP devices.

JVC stocks a comprehensive range of outdoor housing and brackets for the range of network and analogue PTZ dome cameras.  At IIPSEC, the fully featured VN-C655U IP network dome camera installed inside a JVC outdoor housing unit shall be demonstrated.

Visitors to the JVC stand shall see the static VN-C20U camera that has the ability to use Power over Ethernet (PoE).  The super-slim VN-C625U dome camera and the VN-E4 4-channel network encoder will be showcased.

JVC will introduce a 15-inch LCD monitor, model LM-150 and a 17-inch monitor, and model LM-170.  Designed for quality and reliability, both monitors are housed in a durable metal casing.

"Our new leading-edge products demonstrate our commitment to developing the network and security industry.  We are expecting a very successful show and we look forward to welcoming our customers on the stand" explains Yash Patel, Executive Director, and CCTV Europe at JVC Professional Europe.

Recent project successes of JVC's network equipment include a large installation of VN-C655U IP network dome cameras which are integrated in impressive and innovative large IP surveillance systems to monitor critical security areas at Kansas International Airport, USA.

JVC Professional Europe Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Victor Company of Japan Limited and is one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of video and data-related products.
