AEOS is a truly integrated platform for access control, intrusion detection, video and locker management seamlessly integrating with other industry solutions
Canon and ASSA ABLOY have invited Nedap to demonstrate AEOS’s powerful integration capabilities at the event

Canon and ASSA ABLOY have invited Nedap Security Management to demonstrate AEOS’s powerful integration capabilities at IFSEC. AEOS, manufactured by Nedap, is the first software-based security management platform. IFSEC attendees will witness its strength and flexibility in integrations with world-class access and video solutions.

AEOS is a truly integrated platform for access control, intrusion detection, video and locker management seamlessly integrating with other industry solutions. AEOS uniquely manages all types of sensors and devices at a controller level. This way, AEOS offers users freedom to select best of breed technology and combine them in the AEOS platform.

The best of both

Canon Europe, world leader in imaging solutions, invited Nedap to show how commercial spaces and buildings can take advantage of both the cameras’ intelligent functionality and AEOS’s advanced options, by integrating AEOS with Canon cameras.

Jeroen van Dormolen, Video Product Expert at Nedap says: “Advanced analytics are becoming increasingly key for businesses in a range of sectors. IFSEC is a great opportunity for us to show the power of our enhanced security management solution, especially when coupled with Canon’s high quality surveillance products.”

Increased functionality

ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions, will showcase at IFSEC how its Aperio® locks integrate with the AEOS platform. Aperio® upgrades mechanical doors and connects them wirelessly to an existing electronic access control system.

“Our ambition is to offer access control with flexible door locking and opening solutions,” says Gareth Ellams, Key Account Director Access Control Solutions at ASSA ABLOY EMEA. “Aperio® wireless technology has been designed with and for end users, so it’s simple and effective for security and IT managers. Aperio® wireless locking devices are cost-effective extensions of Nedap’s established AEOS security management system, allowing for a greater number of doors to be controlled.”

ASSA ABLOY will also demonstrate how Traka key cabinets can be integrated into AEOS, allowing users to extend their AEOS security management platform with key management.

Close industry cooperation

To ensure that integrations with technology partners remain seamless, Nedap works closely with established security industry brands, such as Canon and ASSA ABLOY. Lea Milovich, Technology Partner Manager at Nedap says, “We believe that only by working in tandem with other companies can we guarantee the development of successful products. Through the close working relationships we’ve built with our technology partners, we ensure users and installers get the very best solutions.”

To discover the power of AEOS’s integration capabilities, visit Nedap at the following IFSEC stands: E1450, F500 and D1700.
