i2 Office offers fully serviced and furnished offices of the highest quality with the latest technology to suit all sizes of business in prime city centre locations across the UK.

What was the challenge?

Prior to Aperio, each sub-let i2 office was being hardwired into an existing access control system, which was proving costly and time consuming.

How did Aperio meet the customer requests?

Every office across the UK is now anticipated to change to ASSA ABLOY Aperio wireless locking solution. OCS Security Solutions, secured each office with Aperio wireless locks, which seamlessly links to the existing access control system without the need to cable around the doors. A selection of over 200 wireless E100 online escutcheons and wireless C100 online cylinder have been fitted to date.

“The features of Aperio make it a simple and intelligent way of upgrading the controllability and security level of any premises. By utilising the existing access control system in place and not altering the doors in anyway, the installation costs are also minimised so more offices can be upgraded in shorter timescales.” Larry Lowther, Operations Manager at OCS Security Solutions.

“Aperio appealed to us because of its innovative design and its ability to work with the security solution in place. We have found it really easy to use, as access can be granted or denied instantly without the need for updating cards. This is especially great when there is a tenant change over as it saves us valuable time and resource. Overall Aperio has enabled an aesthetically pleasing, safe and secure environment for everyone, which is great news.” Philip Grace, CEO of i2 Office.
