KESO has opted for LEGIC's 4000 reader series

LEGIC Identsystems Ltd has gained another important license partner with ASSA ABLOY (Switzerland) Ltd. To develop new contactless locking systems, KESO has opted for LEGIC’s 4000 reader series.

"To develop contactless door locks, we are using LEGIC's outstanding technology", said Rageth Kieni, Head of Product Management at ASSA ABLOY (Switzerland) Ltd., formerly KESO Ltd. "The flexibility of the LEGIC reader module is also important, because customers are free to choose the transponder they want.”

The precision lock manufacturer, KESO Ltd., was founded in Richterswil in 1963 and has been part of the international ASSA ABLOY group since 2001. In 2012, the company became known as ASSA ABLOY (Switzerland) Ltd. The company is one of the leading providers in the fields of access control, identification technology, automatic doors and hotel security. Transponders and multi-functional smart cards with contactless applications are increasingly used in modern lock systems. "We are delighted that the future contactless KESO lock system will be developed based on our technology. I am convinced that some outstanding new products will be brought onto the market", said Dr Otto Eggimann, Vice President Sales, Business Development and Purchasing, LEGIC Identsystems Ltd.
