Matrix Systems and Tri-Ed Distribution have announced a partnership
The partnership between Matrix and Tri-Ed will provide greater opportunities for both companies
Matrix Systems, an access control and security solutions provider with a reputation built on service and long-term customer relationships, has announced a new strategic partnership initiative with Tri-Ed Distribution, a well-known and highly respected supplier of security and IP products based in Woodbury, N.Y.

Matrix Systems will align itself with Tri-Ed Distribution to fulfil its product demand needs for integration projects in its target markets of Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Michigan. With the support of Tri-Ed in these regions, Matrix Systems will be able to tap into Tri-Ed’s broad array of solutions and services to deliver comprehensive project deliverables and robust service and support.

Tri-Ed was selected as its distribution partner of choice because of its national reach, extensive in-stock product options and value-add as a preferred security solutions supplier.

“Tri-Ed’s broad product portfolio focused on physical security and emerging technologies makes us well positioned to assist Matrix Systems with their integration, support and training needs,” said Pat Comunale, President and Chief Executive Officer, Tri-Ed. “This new relationship will enable Matrix Systems to further enhance their business by providing them access to unique products that drive greater opportunity for growth.”

Tri-Ed Distribution is North America’s largest independent security products supplier with more than 60 locations in the United States and Canada. Their innovative “Great Expectations Customer Loyalty Program,” and targeted training and support receive rave reviews from customers and manufacturers alike.

“Tri-Ed is well respected in the industry and we value the ability to work closely with them in this strategic relationship,” said Holly Tsourides, Chief Executive Officer of Matrix Systems. “While they are a large company with an extensive footprint, they still maintain the flexibility and personnel to provide customised options to accounts like Matrix Systems. They will work closely with our team to provide the training and support, and the industry knowledge that is critical in today’s rapidly changing security technology market.”
