AlliedBarton celebrates its continued recognition for its many programs as the most honoured security services company
AlliedBarton was recently recognised by Military Spouse magazine and GI Jobs magazine for hiring military personnel

AlliedBarton Security Services, www.alliedbarton.com, the industry’s premier provider of highly trained security personnel, has been recognised as the only security officer services company on the LearningElite list by Chief Learning Officer magazine for the third consecutive year. AlliedBarton celebrates its continued recognition for its many programs as the most honoured security services company.

“Learning and development are the fundamental keys to success in the security services industry and AlliedBarton is proud to be recognised as one of the LearningElite,” stated Jim Gillece, Senior Vice President of Human Capital Management, Chief People Officer, AlliedBarton.

The LearningElite program honours the best organisations for learning and development. The peer-developed, benchmarking program recognises organisations that employ exemplary workforce development strategies to deliver significant business results which are beneficial to their organisation, industry and the learning and development field. Based upon the five dimensions of learning strategy, leadership commitment, learning execution, internal learning impact and external business performance results, the LearningElite program serves as an integrated framework for managing a learning organisation.

“We are honoured that our leadership program and practices, and military recruitment commitment have also been widely recognised,” said Gillece. “With ten awards in the last two years we continue to raise the bar on developing programs that can set the standard of excellence for the physical security sector.”

AlliedBarton was recently recognized by Military Spouse magazine and GI Jobs magazine for hiring military personnel. Leadership awards in 2012 included the Visionary Award from the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and the Leadership 500 by Leadership Excellence magazine. For a complete awards list visit AlliedBarton.com.

“While the security officer is the face of the security industry, the support system behind those officers needs to be extensive to truly provide exceptional service,” explained Gillece. “AlliedBarton’s clients value our commitment to excellence in all aspects of our organisation.”

Training is one area where AlliedBarton has received much recognition. In 2012, AlliedBarton reached the completion of one million training courses on the AlliedBarton EDGE® since its launch in 2009. Courses have been completed by AlliedBarton employees at all levels. AlliedBarton promotes personal growth and development through a range of learning opportunities including the AlliedBarton EDGE, a professionally designed and executed approach to training and development.

“There is no question that training is critical to our success, and we are proud of the recognition our program has received,” noted Gillece.

AlliedBarton will continue to pursue new awards that demonstrate their leadership position in many areas. In doing so, AlliedBarton did not participate in Training magazine’s Training Top 125 award submission for 2013. This well-respected award helped to recognise AlliedBarton’s training culture and leadership. AlliedBarton was the first security company on Training magazine’s list in 2006 and held the highest ranking of any security firm for seven consecutive years through 2012.
