This is the fifth consecutive year which AlliedBarton has been recognised as a LearningElite organisation |
AlliedBarton Security Services, the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel, has been named a Gold LearningElite organisation for 2015 by Chief Learning Officer magazine, published by Human Capital Media (HCM). This is the fifth consecutive year which AlliedBarton has been recognised as a LearningElite organisation.
The LearningElite is composed of organisations that perform above a benchmark standard for implementing learning and development best practices for their workforce.
Adapting to customer requirements:"This recognition distinguishes AlliedBarton's reputation for developing great learning programs that enable the delivery of high quality security services to our clients every day," said Jim Gillece, Senior Vice President of Human Capital Management, Chief People Officer, AlliedBarton. "We are proud to be recognised as one of the LearningElite. Learning is essential to a security officer's ability to respond to the ever changing needs of our clients' environments. Through the AlliedBarton|Academy(SM) we provide initial, ongoing and industry-specific training that enables our security officers' growth and development."
LearningElite program:
The LearningElite program is the only peer-ranking and benchmarking program of its kind. Developed through collaboration between chief learning officers, senior workforce development practitioners and the Human Capital Media Research and Advisory Group, it utilises rigorous evaluation methodologies to objectively assess both the scope and value of participants' L&D practices.
"Every year the number of applications we receive grows, and this year was no exception," said Sarah Kimmel, director of research and advisory services for HCM. "While our rigorous metrics and high standard for inclusion in the program remain consistent, we are seeing more organisations striving to surpass the benchmark and qualify. That organisations are increasingly recognising the importance of L&D in establishing a productive and fulfilled workforce is heartening."
In addition to being a LearningElite Company, AlliedBarton has also been named to Chief Executive magazine's 2015 Best Companies for Leaders, and Leadership Excellence magazine's Leadership 500.
