DVTEL, Inc., the video surveillance solutions provider, is expanding its business in the important Asia-Pacific market, with an enhanced local team in place to focus on capitalising on surveillance market opportunities. Increased urbanisation and healthy economic growth in the Asia-Pacific region are driving greater need for video surveillance systems to ensure the safety of people, property and assets.

DVTEL will showcase its Meridian NVR, a mid-market NVR solution; ioimage by DVTEL video analytics; the latest updates to its Latitude NVMS; and its HD-quality Quasar surveillance camera line at the Global Security Asia 2013 International exhibition April 2-4, 2013, at the Sands Expo &Convention Centre in Singapore. At booth #1920, DVTEL's full range of technologies will be demonstrated, highlighting state-of-the-art IP security technologies and equipment to combat current and future threats.

DVTEL's products and systems allow integrators to deliver comprehensive solutions from the camera to the control room, including edge devices, video management software (VMS), intelligent video analytics, and custom applications and integration. DVTEL's newest camera line, the HD broadcast-quality Quasar, delivers high-resolution video at extremely low bandwidth, giving resellers the ability to minimise storage requirements and enhance their customer’s return on investment. The transition from analog to IP systems is accelerating market opportunity in Asia-Pacific, and DVTEL’s first-class technology and service provides an easy, safe and cost-effective transition.

“We are investing heavily in the Asia-Pacific market, and exhibiting at Global Security Asia will enable us to build on our momentum in this fast-growing area,” said Ed Wassall, DVTEL Vice President of Global Marketing and Hardware Product. “We are already seeing strong customer demand for our reliable, scalable systems that are also easy to maintain. With our team inplace, we will be raising our profile and stepping up to showcase the technologies we offer to APAC VARs and end customers.”

Global Security Asia's theme in 2013 is “Moving Towards a Safer Tomorrow,” aligning perfectly with DVTEL's range of technologies, which are used around the world in a variety of applications, from large municipal surveillance projects to transit deployments and other large-scale video surveillance installations.
