Dvtel will exhibit HD 1080p Quasar camera series, which offer broadcast quality video at the lowest storage and bandwidth in the industry
DVTEL's TruWitness transforms smart phones into real-time, networked surveillance cameras

DVTEL, the video surveillance solutions provider, will highlight its ONVIF-compatible Quasar camera series and the award-winning TruWitness mobile application at IFSEC India 2012, being held Nov. 1-3, 2012, at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. At booth M-11, conference attendees can view live demonstrations of TruWitness, which transforms smart phones into real-time, networked surveillance cameras, and the company’s HD 1080p Quasar camera series, which offers broadcast quality video at the lowest storage and bandwidth in the industry.

DVTEL’s TruWitness leverages WiFi, 3G/4G and LTE networks to enable users to stream, record, analyse, review and export video on their smart phones, live from the field, from any location. Available with DVTEL’s Latitude 6.2 NVMS, the mobile application provides security and operation teams with the ultimate level of flexibility and an enhanced level of situational awareness. TruWitness is supported on Android-based smart phones running on OS version 2.2 and above.

The Quasar HD broadcast quality IP camera series delivers the highest quality video available in today’s market with the lowest bandwidth and storage requirements at a very competitive price. Equipped with tamper and motion detection, edge-based smart search metadata and 3-D Digital Noise Reduction, the HD cameras provide H.264 video streams of up to 30 frames per second and are ideal for use in both indoor and outdoor environments. Quasar cameras are compatible with DVTEL’s VMS solutions, a variety of ONVIF-compliant software systems and other leading VMS platforms.

“IFSEC is a great opportunity to introduce DVTEL’s latest product developments to new and existing customers, consultants, integrators and distributors,” said Inderjit Sehrawat, Managing Director, DVTEL India. “DVTEL has invested heavily to make sure our IP surveillance solutions can meet a wide range of project requirements to satisfy the most demanding surveillance challenges.”

During the exhibition, the company will announce an exciting new development from the local India office.

Also on display will be DVTEL’s Meridian, a plug-and-play Network Video Recorder for entry-level and mid-market applications. The Meridian NVR offers an HD-quality recording system that dramatically reduces the cost of megapixel video deployments. Meridian delivers a host of beneficial features to integrators, including ease of set-up and installation; a built-in PoE-based switch to reduce network requirements; and easy client operation.
