defog feature improves the clarity of images in poor environmental conditions such as rain, smoke or fog, while Digital Image Stabilization (DIS) negates the effects of vibration
Samsung SNV-6012M mobile flat camera is IP66 rated and equipped with a rugged M12 connector

The latest addition to Samsung Techwin’s WiseNetIII camera line was introduced recently at ASIS 2013 (booth #: 853). The 2 MP Full HD (1080P) network line of vandal-resistant camera is fully mobile and has been designed to meet the challenging conditions for surveillance on-board trains, buses and other modes of public transport.

The Samsung SNV-6012M mobile flat camera is IP66 rated and equipped with a rugged M12 connector to withstand vibration and harsh weather environments. Utilising bandwidth-friendly H.264 compression along with the option to use MJPEG compression, the SNV-6012M can capture high quality colour images with a lighting level as low as 0.03 lux, with an ultra-fast frame rate of 60fps at 1080p for latency free clear images. Together with Samsung’s Motion Artefact Reduction technology, this keeps image edges sharp and clear, even when subjects are moving.

A defog feature improves the clarity of images in poor environmental conditions such as rain, smoke or fog, while Digital Image Stabilisation (DIS) negates the effects of vibration. This also greatly reduces rolling shutter effects such as image wobbling or skew that can be seen in high quality images. The enhanced Wide Dynamic Range built into the Samsung SNV-6012M’s WiseNetIII DSP chipset, with performance greater than 120dB, accurately produces images in scenes with both very bright and very dark areas.

The Samsung SNV-6012M is ONVIF compliant to interoperate with the widest possible range of recording and viewing solutions.
