Camera produces full HD1920 x 1080P resolution for exceptional HD images, IR function illuminates objects by focusing the beam as the camera zooms, resulting in clear imaging in total darkness
Samsung announced that an ASIS Accolade has been awarded to the SNP-6200RH camera

A new video surveillance IP pan/tilt/zoom (P/T/Z) network dome camera introduced recently by Samsung Techwin America sets new benchmarks in performance, functionality and added value. The SNP-6200RH P/T/Z dome camera features 20x optical zoom, full HD image capture, and built-in IR LEDs for nighttime viewing at distances up to 100 meters (328 feet) along with a host of advanced built-in analytics for advanced system operation.

Samsung also announced that an ASIS Accolade has been awarded to the SNP-6200RH camera. ASIS Accolades is an awards competition that recognises the security industry's most innovative new products, services, and/or solutions. A team of judges representing end users and experts in security technologies evaluated all entries and selected the SNP-6200RH as one of the 10 winning entries.

“We are delighted that ASIS recognised the SNP-6200RH (Spide-Cam) as a practical solution in true applications where perimeter security is vital, but lighting may be cost prohibited. This excellent IR focusing technology will present an elegant and robust solution for detection with video verification,” said Frank De Fina, Samsung's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, North America.

Ideal for challenging sites such as airports, bridges, parking garages, open space/perimeter locations, as well as retail and industrial areas, the new SNP-6200RH network PTZ dome camera is engineered to perform brilliantly in both a wide spectrum of applications and lighting conditions. The camera’s unique IR function illuminates objects by focusing the beam as the camera zooms, resulting in clear imaging in total darkness. Its noise filtering and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology delivers a S/N ratio of 60dB for superior image quality and dual H.264/MJPEG compression algorithms ensure effective bandwidth utilisation. The camera produces full HD1920 x 1080P resolution for exceptional HD images. The ONVIF compliant SNP-6200RH is also weatherproof to IP66 standards as well as IK10 vandal resistant and can withstand temperatures ranging from -50°C to +55°C.

Additional features include Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), eight privacy masking zones and bi-directional audio. It is also designed with on-board Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) such as face detection, tripwire, enter/exit and object appear/disappear detection and scene change or tampering which creates an alert if the lens view is obstructed or if the camera is moved away from its usual field of view.
