ASSA ABLOY Access Control has launched an online product configurator, especially designed to support selection of the innovative Aperio wireless locking range to enable the creation of bespoke access control solutions.

Aperio is designed to upgrade mechanically locked doors and wirelessly connect them online or offline to new or existing access control systems, with minimal modification to doors and premises, offering a cost effective and simple security upgrade.

By offering an online product configurator segmented by electronic cylinders and escutcheons, ASSA ABLOY Access Control is providing an easy to use, step-by-step process to help customers select the correct products for ease of ordering.

The new tool offers clear and concise product listings and walks customers through a series of product building steps. It´s very useful for customers who are not familiar with configurating or ordering wireless RFID-locks like Aperio when considering different door dimensions.

Says Tina Hughan, Head of Marketing at ASSA ABLOY: “The rapid evolution of Aperio has led to our customers calling for a simple tool to understand and ultimately select their Aperio products to suit individual applications. The new online configurator does just that, incorporating every step to ensure highly customised products for each and every customer.”

“Aperio’s unique offering is its ability to integrate into almost any access control system.  Now available in a portfolio of escutcheons and cylinders which all meet latest security standards, and being built on an open standard to support many RFID technologies, the configurator serves to complement the convenience and flexibility offered by such an innovative product range.”
