The Securitron AQ Series Power Boards are the latest addition to ASSA ABLOY's access control products

Securitron officially announced the launch of new AccuPower® lines of switching power supplies and power accessories at ISC West 2013 (ASSA ABLOY Booth #11065). AccuPower AQ Series power boards and AQTVA Series power supplies for CCTV and AC locks are the latest addition to ASSA ABLOY's complete line of products for access control. These units provide clean, filtered and accurate low-voltage power, protecting the performance of all types of access control devices. The switching power supplies are uniquely designed to minimise noise and interference to better support contactless card readers and radio-frequency devices.

“The new AccuPower lines bring added value to the Securitron brand by extending our already popular power supplies offerings, and providing our customers with a complete array of power management options,” said Scott Baker, President of ASSA ABLOY EMS&OEM Group. “They are ideal for use with many access control devices, including electrified locks, card readers and more, offering better solutions for complex access control deployments in any type of facility.”

The AQTVA Series power supplies offer a reliable, economical option for AC power to support video surveillance and locking devices that call for 24VAC power. With a variety of sizes for Amp output and channels, the AQTVA Series provides a quality solution for better power at an affordable price. The series features fuse or PTC protected channels, individual output power status LED per channel, and even power output to maintain camera synchronisation.

The AQ Series Power Boards are power supply/battery charger modules that can be integrated with access control management components enclosures to provide customised power solutions. Featuring a steady, low-noise power output for protection of sensitive devices, the AQ Series Boards are ideal for use with access control products and DC video surveillance cameras in single and multi-door deployments. Its smaller board footprint provides ease of integration with controllers in existing enclosures, and features an automatic low battery disconnect to prevent deep discharge, preserving battery life.
