Galaxy Control Systems, a leading manufacturer of integrated access control, video and security solutions, has announced that its industry renowned System Galaxy Access Control and Management Software now offers integration with the latest intelligent WiFi and Power over Ethernet (PoE) Access Control Locks from ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions. This integration further expands Galaxy’s support for emerging access control applications.

“We are excited to expand our extensive list of integrated wireless technologies to provide our customers with best-in-breed intelligent WiFi and PoE locks from ASSA ABLOY,” said Robert Laughlin, President, Galaxy Control Systems. “This integration gives System Galaxy users a great deal of flexibility while helping to save costs when implementing new or expanded access control infrastructure.”

The integration allows System Galaxy users to configure and monitor WiFi and PoE locks from ASSA ABLOY Group brands Corbin Russwin and SARGENT using advanced management capabilities. Functions include sending cardholder information to locks via a facility’s WiFi or PoE network, and the ability to generate detailed reports to track who accessed locks and when they were accessed. System Galaxy’s seamless integration of security and building management functions further enhances customers’ experience with Corbin Russwin and SARGENT intelligent IP-enabled locks.

“We are pleased to offer Galaxy Control Systems’ users and reseller partners an intelligent locking solution that enables them to expand their access control systems utilising WiFi and PoE technology, at a lower cost than traditional components,” said Henry Fell, OEM Development Support Manager, ASSA ABLOY. “The integration of ASSA ABLOY intelligent locks with System Galaxy allows users to leverage their existing network infrastructure to extend electronic access control into every area of their facilities.”
