In some countries, many installers tend to tie coaxial cables with Traveling cables due to cost issues when they install CCTV inside elevators.

However, this may cause significant damages to the T-cables, finally result in replacing the T-cables, which costs thousands of dollars. This can also cause safety issues to passengers.

Nature & Dessian Apartment, a 10 building apartment complex (18~24 stories) in Korea, is a perfect example of that. From the beginning, CCTV cameras were installed inside all of the elevators by tying coaxial cables with T-cables.

However, the coaxial cables had cut off, these had made the manager reinstall coaxial cables frequently.  Recently, one of the coaxial cable installed was cut off and tangled with the running T-cable, it made the T-cable broken. Also this caused the elevator to stop and made the passengers in the elevator panic.

Qccess installed 10 sets of Air@-EL100 at this apartment. The LED optical video transmission system solved all kinds of problems perfectly.  "A source of great distress has disappeared totally. We can save a lot of money every year," said the manager of the apartment.
