Chamberlin’s experience includes creating strategic sales direction, establishing repeatable sales processes and developing and optimising metrics
Chamberlin will bring her sales expertise in the security market and knowledge of B2B technologies to the organisation

MicroPower Technologies Inc., the award-winning provider of surveillance solutions optimised for rapid, cost-effective deployment, recently announced Ann Chamberlin as the company’s new Vice President of Sales. Chamberlin will bring her sales expertise in the security market and keen knowledge of B2B technologies to the MicroPower organisation.

Chamberlin’s experience includes creating strategic sales direction, establishing repeatable sales processes, and developing and optimising metrics for a wide range of technology companies. Her key strengths are growing revenue and maximising profit by standardising sales processes and building high-performance, scalable teams for early-stage and emerging entrepreneurial organisations.

“We are excited to have Ann join the MicroPower executive team as Vice President of Sales,” said Jon Siann, CEO, MicroPower Technologies. “Her extensive experience with sales direction and processes, as well as her skill at helping to increase company revenues, will greatly benefit MicroPower as we continue to expand our presence in the surveillance market.”

Chamberlin most recently served as Vice President, Global Sales for Send Word Now, a SaaS-based provider of emergency notification services. There, she achieved significant revenue increase per salesperson year-over-year, in part by creating repeatable sales processes.

Prior to Send Word Now, Chamberlin helped build enterprise, SMB, higher education and partner initiatives at Everbridge, an interactive communications and mass notification company. During her six-year tenure, she helped the company take advantage of new market opportunities and achieved more than 200 percent growth.  Earlier, Chamberlin re-engineered a new SMB channel group for ZyXEL, a provider of broadband access solutions for service providers and business and home users. Prior to ZyXEL, she built an enterprise sales and account management team in her role as Regional Sales Director for Intel/Trillium Digital Systems.

Chamberlin earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific and a Master’s of Arts in International Business from Webster University.

“I look forward to working with, and improving on, our sales strategies and anticipate playing an instrumental role in further strengthening the company’s business initiatives,” Chamberlin said. “The idea of providing users with a wireless, solar-powered alternative to fixed, traditional surveillance products is revolutionary. As MicroPower continues to expand its footprint, I’m excited to be on board to help maximise sales and efficiencies.”
