The new intercom reader solution can either be used as a standalone item or is easily integrated into an existing Castel installation
Castel’s new intercom reader solution provides the answer to a small niche that has been a problem in commercial properties for many years

Castel, suppliers of communication, intercom and access control solutions since 1970, will be exhibiting at IFSEC London, which has relocated from the Birmingham NEC to the prestigious ExCeL centre in the Docklands.

Visitors to stand C1700 at the show will be able to see the exciting new intercom unit with in-built reader (CAP IP Reader). This product can either be used as a standalone item or is easily integrated into an existing Castel installation. The other benefit to end-users is that they can utilise their existing hardware by removing the proximity reader and using their existing key fob/card door-entry solution if necessary.

Stuart Hibberd, Sales Director of Castel said, “Our new intercom reader solution provides the answer to a small niche that has been a problem in commercial properties for many years. Historically, we would manufacture bespoke solutions, which were neither time nor cost-effective. Now, this versatile unit will provide either a solely Castel solution, or else it can be utilised if an existing controlled entry solution is already in place.”
