Thomas F. French has joined AES management team as chief financial officer
Thomas brings finance and global operations management experience to help advance AES transformation

AES Corporation, the leading manufacturer of private wireless mesh alarm communication networks, recently announced that Thomas F. French has joined the Company's management team as Chief Financial Officer. He will assume Company-wide responsibility for corporate financial management, planning, inventory controls, accounting, financial analysis, human resources, and office administration.

"Tom's extensive senior level experience in finance and global operations management will be invaluable in helping to propel AES forward," said Bill Kieckhafer, President & COO, AES Corporation. "Tom is a CPA and has worked in a series of multi-million dollar manufacturing and service technology companies with the common trait being they were fast-growing enterprises. His understanding of operational efficiencies will be instrumental to the Company's transformation as we move closer to achieving our goals."

Tom joins AES after serving as Corporate Controller, Director of Finance, and Principal in various roles throughout his career. He will leverage his vast experience and technical background to oversee the implementation of new systems and process improvement.

"I am enthusiastic about joining AES at this important time in the Company's history," said French. "I look forward to helping the team explore new markets and opportunities in the industry. My goal is to turn strategic business initiatives into tangible results as the organisation enters this next stage of accelerated growth."

Mr. French earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Salem State University where he is Chair of the Bertolon School of Business Advisory Council. Tom coached several Peabody youth sport programs for 14 years and has also been active with other organisations such as Peabody Western Little League and the North Shore Chamber of Commerce.
