AES Corporation, the security industry's leading developer of wireless mesh radio technology, announced that the Company has named Owais Hassan as its new Vice President of Engineering.

Owais brings 20 years of engineering, research, and business development experience to AES. He is an experienced senior executive and dynamic entrepreneur with strong technical knowledge and a solid leadership background. He has previously held positions at communication and information system companies, specialising in wireless and secure networks technology in the security industry. A graduate of West Virginia University, Owais holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

In his new role as Vice President of Engineering, Owais will lead and guide the design of product enhancements as well as manage new product planning and development efforts. His areas of expertise include strategic product development from conceptual stages to high volume manufacturing and in depth knowledge of relevant and new emerging markets."I am delighted to join the AES team and look forward to making a significant contribution to the Company's direction and taking it to the next level," said Owais.
