Axis Communications is a world leader in network video, delivering cost-effective video surveillance and remote monitoring through an open platform of network cameras, video encoders, software and accessories. At Secutech Thailand, the company will be presenting their latest range of HDTV network cameras.

Thai security market will get a boost from Secutech 2011 which will involve participation of International companies

Commenting on the Thai security market, Mr Nafis Jasmani, Regional Sales Manager for ASEAN, Axis Communications said: "Customers are beginning to see the benefits of using IP surveillance." "The technology trend for 2011 is video analytics which is likely to drive the future of the surveillance industry," Mr Jasmani explained. "Video will emerge as a tool for gathering business intelligence. High-definition television (HDTV) technology will also drive the demand for network camera solutions, especially for sectors where greater image detail in surveillance required, such as at retail stores, airports, passport controls, casinos and highways. We also predict demand for the ‘surveillance as a service' concept which is similar to the ‘software as a service' (Saas) model. People will be able to have surveillance solutions, just as they make use of telephone, electricity and other utilities."

Digitalcom is a major player in the Video IP surveillance market and the company will use Secutech Thailand 2011 as a branding opportunity for increased awareness in the Thai market. "We will exhibit our latest advanced products and we want to reach prospective customers who are looking for an Integrated Security System," said Mr Suwich Chitkasemsuk, Managing Director. "Our major product is the City Surveillance line offering IP Camera, Access Control, Software Management and Wireless for City Surveillance."

Security solutions will be merged together by using network technology in near future

Mr Suwich Chitkasemsuk added that the future trend for their product category will be "convergence security". "This means that all security solutions will be merged together by using network technology," he added. "For example, video surveillance will be integrated with an access control system. Both systems will be operated together, no separation. One system can send a signal to alert or operate the others."

Global company EverFocus Co Ltd, headquartered in Taiwan, is exhibiting at Secutech Thailand 2011 to further expand business opportunities and brand image in the Thai and Southeast Asian security markets. The company's product line includes cameras, DVRs, software and relevant accessories. Ms Amanda Fang, the company's Deputy Manager, Brand Global Business Development, Regional Business Development said: "We will showcase our total solutions for IP surveillance, including the newest two megapixel network camera. We will also highlight our HDcctv products which can deliver superior image quality over coaxial cable." Ms Fang added that Thailand is the biggest growing market in ASEAN region and IP products will be the major trend in this market. "The government also has transportation projects which require surveillance products," she said.
