AirLive, one of the most advanced worldwide brands for networking and communication equipments, introduced a new palm-sized long range 802.11b/g/n USB adapter. 

AirLive introduces as a novelty in its production program compact palm-sized Wi-Fi adapter WN-380USB with USB2.0 connection and the greatest signal range in its category. The device supports all current standards Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, moreover is also equipped with technology MIMO (Multiple In Multiple Out). Thanks to this it reaches excellent data throughput of up to 300Mbps.

The main goal of the development was to achieve the longest possible signal range whilst remaining compact, easy to install and user friendly. AirLive WN-380USB is therefore for this purpose equipped with R-SMA connector and comes with a detachable 5dBi gain dipole antenna, that can be additionally replaced with even higher gain antenna types. Dimensions of base unit are carefully chosen with regard for preserving stability when using larger antennas. Power is drawn directly from the USB port, external power supply is not needed.

Device comes with supplied software drivers for Windows as well as for Linux and MacOS. Moreover, it is possible with the help of supplied software to create a software acces point, so use of AirLive WN-380USB is not limited just to the client adapter function.

Naturally, AirLive WN-380USB supports of all currently used types of encryption, WEP, WPA and WPA2, so no need to worry about security of wireless access, or incompatibility with existing equipment.
