New Disability and Discrimination (2004) legislation now in force has had a profound effect on service providers with regards to accessibility for disabled people to access goods and services.

Alpro Hardware (IEC Ltd.), specialists in innovative access solutions and access control systems, is at the forefront of this initiative supplying its automated door systems range of "Swift" operators and accessories.

Approached for advice on two Post Office locations, Alpro has recently supplied and installed door access solutions, to comply with the latest requirements of this new act.

Swift 02 automatic operators were fitted to main entrance doors to facilitate ease of ingress and egress for customers of the Post office.
