When the need arose for Cannons Health Club to ensure a DDA solution for its main entrance doors for its outlet in Northampton, they turned to Alpro (part of IEC Ltd.) to provide an access solution that fitted the bill.

Two sets of external aluminium doors were automated by the use of Alpro "Swift" automatic door operators, along with all the necessary key switches and accessories to complete the project. The doors open and close upon command and the management of the health centre are delighted with the results.

Keith Parry, Alpro's Divisional Sales Manager, commented: "When major franchise chains require an access solution to ensure compliance with the latest government legislation, we as a company can fulfil that role. In this instance we not only supplied the automatic equipment, but we installed it also. Enabling the client to rest assured that the solution would not only be cost effective but would comply to standards".
