Among all the products presented by Hytera at Interseg 2013 (International Trade Fair for Technology, Products and Services for Public Safety) which took place in Rio de Janeiro, 18-20 August, its TETRA Solutions received intense attention from Public Security sectors.

Representatives of local and international government, fire, police, power companies conferred the advantages of the most advanced digital trunking systems in the world. "The visitors were very interested in our TETRA solutions, as a PMR technology that meets the requirements of the national legislation of radio communications, which, since 2012, requires the digital migration." explains Tom Ferrari, Vice President of Marketing and Sales of Hytera in Latin America.

The TETRA System fits the needs of organisations such as Public Safety, Transportation and Utilities to ensure smooth and seamless communications. Hytera had also brought Interseg its TETRA Enhanced Data Service (TEDS) which is considered the new generation of TETRA system and one of the hottest trends in radio. The superiority of communication with the TETRA 2 enables video surveillance, fingerprint reader, access and transmission of voice and data quickly and efficiently.

Hytera also introduced two of its featured products - PD79X EX, the intrinsically safe radio with complete certification of ATEX, CSA, CQST, FM and IECEx for use in hazardous environments, and X1P, the ultra-thin digital radio compatible with the DMR open standard.

According to Yenny Passanante, Marketing Manager of Hytera in Latin America, the event was an important opportunity for the company to strengthen relationship with organisations and companies to extend its business in the country. "The presence of Hytera in events like Interseg, with a robust portfolio and latest technologies, symbolises growth and strength we have gained over the past 20 years and the excellent prospects we have for our business in the future," said the marketing manager.

In one of the busiest booths of the event, hundreds of visitors were discovering Hytera’s DMR and TETRA solutions. An important deal was sealed during the event with Argentine clients, who were impressed by the advantages of the DMR Trunking Pro System at the fair.
