Idesco’s new Access 7 AH not only provides with the most economical, cost-effective and rugged (IP67) proximity solution for money - but a versatile one too. This low frequency (125 kHz) reader is specifically designed for compatibility with Proximity and EM transponders. However, it’s also built with a variety of advanced options allowing to fine-tune the installation. For example, it is possible to configure LED colour, buzzer mode and optical tamper parameters. And since Access 7 AH is an eco20 reader, consuming as little as 60% of the energy of other readers in the market, it helps saving money for years to come.

While it’s true that Idesco’s EPC reader family, using passive technology (unpowered tags), handily manages identification tasks for distances ranging from a few meters up to fifteen, this versatile EPC family has also been carefully designed that helps in choosing the right model, whether for advanced vehicle identification, access & area control, logistics or inventory tasks.

For example, some Idesco EPC readers can connect external antennae enabling simultaneous identification of tags approaching from opposite directions, effectively allowing one reader to function as two. Conversely, our anti-collision models possess a powerful ability to read several tags simultaneously. Still other models’ adjustable reading areas flexibly accommodate specialised applications.
