Idesco and Niscayah bring their security services to the whole logistic chain

Idesco and the security system provider Niscayah announced at Helsinki's Finnsec Exhibition an agreement strengthening their long-term cooperation relationship. Their target is to seek and open new markets and application areas for the products and services they provide. In practice, this will mean deeper cooperation in product development particularly. This deepened cooperation will also generate new opportunities for both companies through the synergistic and beneficial combination of their know-how and expertise.

"As a result of the deepening cooperation we can now, as a device supplier, enjoy the benefits of faster feedback from the customer. Correspondingly, customers will find their software more easily integrated into the devices", says Jari Valtonen, CEO at Idesco. "We have been cooperating in this field over 20 years now - the extra value that this agreement brings is that our operations will act even more seamlessly together. I can see that the trend is more and more towards the integration of devices and software, and as a device supplier it is good to have advanced cooperation partners working with us when we are creating - together - security business solutions for the future", says Valtonen.

"What is interesting for us here is that we can now bring the security services utilising the same technology to the whole logistic chain", says Kettil Stenberg, CEO at Niscayah Oy. We believe also that this is a wonderful possibility for Idesco to strengthen their position in the international markets", says Stenberg.
