CNL reviews the technology to deter crime through improved situational awareness

CNL Software, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, will present “Safer Cities Through Improved Situational Awareness” and “Information Management for Physical Security”, at the ASIS 4th Middle East Security Conference & Exhibition between February 17-19, 2013 in Dubai, UAE.

Set at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. ASIS Middle East 2013 will address a full spectrum of topics in security management such as: supply chain security, loss prevention, hotel security, intellectual property, maritime piracy, terrorism, executive protection, internal theft and fraud, competitive intelligence, brand protection, physical security, cyber security, investigations, due diligence and global business issues.

CNL Software will share its knowledge and experience on the advantages of intelligent systems to support the fusion of data for situation management. It will review the technology, which enables cities such as Washington DC, Atlanta GA, Manchester and London (UK) to deter crime through improved situational awareness and demonstrate how the integration of disparate physical security systems leads to a more proactive approach to event monitoring and response.

“CNL Software has a wealth of experience working with customers across the world including major cities and corporate enterprise as well as critical infrastructure, oil & gas and transportation organisations. ASIS will be a great opportunity for security professionals to meet, share best practices plus gain new insights and perspectives on the security challenges we all face”, says Lee Wagstaffe PSP, Technical Account Manager at CNL Software Dubai. “For example, the Olympic Games in the UK last year created more of a buzz around the topic of physical protection and PSIM solutions especially with regard to safe cities and major events. Our IPSecurityCenter PSIM solution played a vital role during the Olympic Games and we look forward to sharing some of our experiences not only from the Games but also from other major Safe City initiatives across the globe.”
