SANS London 2012 is Europe's largest training event for information security professionals

SANS London 2012, Europe’s largest training event for information security professionals will this year move from its traditional venue at East London’s Excel conference centre to the Grand Connaught Rooms in vibrant Covent Garden.

The decision has been made based on extensive feedback received from students over the last few years,” explains Gareth Dance, the Conference Director for SANS EMEA “Excel has been a great location for us in terms of facilities but the ease of travel links into the capital and the availability of such a great venue as the Grand Connaught Rooms will offer a better experience for our students.”

SANS is currently working with nearby hotels to secure some special rates for participants but with the multitude of hotels in the area accommodation certainly will not be a problem. SANS are also offering “Early Bird Discounts” of up to €400 for students that register and pay for any five- or six-day course by Wednesday 10th of October 2012.

SANS London 2012 offers 13 hands-on technical security courses addressing intrusion detection, penetration testing and ethical hacking, forensics, compliance and many other areas. “The combination of a good range of courses at a great new venue in the heart of London will make SANS 2012 an event not to be missed,” Dance adds.

SANS London 2012, the world’s largest infosec training event outside of the US and will take place at the Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden, London from November 26th – 3rd  December. More information can be found at http://www.sans.org/london-2012/
